Dear Grant,        In a situation like this, where you cant seem to get though to someone, maybe you should just leave it alone. You cant always help someone especially if they don’t want to be helped. In his mind his life is about to be over anyways, so why try now? He has fallen to the title the white man has given him. Maybe bringing in another person to try and talk to him would steer him in the right direction. Sadly you can’t save anyone. School is a box of chocolates You never know what you’ll get or if you’ll like it. Some days at school are nice and sweet and others are disgusting and filled with things you don’t like. It may look good on the outside but its a surprise on the inside.

(Late Post) “Sneezing” Allergies- Grass, Pollen, and Dirt The October wind blowing every leaf and twig. Making my eyes watery and my nose stuffy. Allergies.

In the article it talks about a trail maintainer named Hank “The Owl” Magnuski. Hank runs a cafe for thru-hikers passing through that want to eat, take a break, or catch up on recent news by reading new paper. He is well known for his infamous chocolate chip cookies smothered with whip cream and fruit. People who come along the trail often leave snacks and beverages in containers for future thru-hikers. But when it is left unattended too long, the wild life tends to go and take the food. Because of that the PCT has created some new rules and guidelines for hikers. The most important rule is to make sure you do not leave human waste anywhere near the trail, lake, or campsites. Secondly do not add any soap or sunscreen products to the lake. It can be extremely harmful to the animals who drink from the water. From this article, I learned that there are alot of generous people in the world. My first 2 weeks of school have been fun. I enjoy all my classes so far and I love my teachers. I am glad that all my classes are challenging, I just wish i would have taken Spanish in 9th grade so that I would not be the only Junior in a class full of Freshman. If my classes continue to be how they are now I can say that my Junior year will be a fun year.
