In today’s lesson on Psalms 27, we interpreted the meaning of the Psalms. In the text, it talks about letting God be your guidance in life and trusting in him to protect you from anything trying to take you down. In lines 1-3, it stats “The LORD is my light... in this will I be confident”. Saying how if you have God in your life, He shall rid you of all your worries and cover you from your enemies. Specifically in line 1 it says “The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?” meaning that because I have Christ in my life I am shielded by his faith and have no worries.

My first 2 weeks of school have been fun. I enjoy all my classes so far and I love my teachers. I am glad that all my classes are challenging, I just wish i would have taken Spanish in 9th grade so that I would not be the only Junior in a class full of Freshman. In the article it talks about a trail maintainer named Hank “The Owl” Magnuski. Hank runs a cafe for thru-hikers passing through that want to eat, take a break, or catch up on recent news by reading new paper. He is well known for his infamous chocolate chip cookies smothered with whip cream and fruit. People who come along the trail often leave snacks and beverages in containers for future thru-hikers. But when it is left unattended too long, the wild life tends to go and take the food. Because of that the PCT has created some new rules and guidelines for hikers.
